Town Views
-
Bouillon from the south
- This is a nice view from the hills south of Bouillon.
-
View from the Youth Hostel
- A nice view of Bouillon's castle. The roof at bottom right is the
Archeoscope, the Harmonie building is to the left, with view of the
construction site.
Accomodations
-
A peek at the rooms in the
Youth Hostel
-
This
campsite at the river
is about 1.5km downstream from Bouillon.
Looks not unlike Tuechersfeld, doesn't it?
-
Campsite La Falize
at the top of the hill.
-
Another "alley" at
Campsite La Falize
-
Bar/Restaurant La Falize
at the entrance of the campsite.
-
A look inside
Bar/Restaurant La Falize
-
Bar/Disco The Saloon
right next door.
-
Hotel La Porte de France
is situated right underneath the castle, next to the tunnel and
the southern bridge.
-
They have a possible
Lecture Room
that would seat about 30 people, or 20 for a workshop.
-
And this is
the bar
downstairs. (also for coffee and lunch)
-
Hotel de la Poste
is situated at the central square, by the northern bridge,
next to the Archeoscope.
-
Hotel Au Duc de Bouillon
is right next to the Hostel de la Poste.
-
This is a nice little quiet
hotel
a few hundred meters up the hill from the central square,
the name of which escapes me at the moment.
Apparently has a very nice restaurant.
-
Hotel Gai Repos.
A quiet and simple place, up the hill.
-
The breakfast/dining room at
Hotel Gai Repos.
-
All the way to the left, at the edge of town, some 200 meters from
the northern bridge, is
Hotel Relais Godefroy.
-
Across the river at the northern bridge, in the old town centre,
we find
Hotel le Mont Blanc.
-
We have tested the
restaurant
at le Mont Blanc, and found it entirely satisfactory.
-
A view of
Hotel Panorama and Hotel Le Feuillantin
from the old town across the river.

People
This is
"Bennie",
the proprietor of the local spanish restaurant, and generally the
most helpful person we ran into. He gave us various useful contacts.
Horses
Yes, they have
those
here too, for those interested. You know who you are...
