Well, after 2 months of downtime the website is up again. We suffered
from a major harddrive-crash and had difficulties while restoring the system.
The backup was unusable (blame DDS!).
As you all noticed, the LBW 2001 is over, but the LBW 2002 is beginning at the
end of the month!
I will try to upload the pictures of the LBW 2001 as soon as possible, so
please come back and visit this site again.(aj)

There is a new registration/forum system. You can see a list of proposed activities, show your interest in some of these activities and offer to hold your own workshop or lecture.
You have to login to the registration system first to access these features.

The date for the hike seems to be fixed. We have a positive answer from the Archeoscope for
25th of August - 1st of September 2001.
The Price will be 2500 Euro.(aj)

19:00-20:00 PM MET: One hour downtime! Caused by a diffcult harddrive update. Now I ran out of hardware so there are no more downtimes expeted :-) (ds)

20:00 PM MET: Short downtime due to a memory upgrade. Swapped a 32 MB module against a 128 MB one. Now we have a total of 160 Megs. (ds)

20:00 PM MET: The server is up again. We swapped an old AMD K5-166MHz against an AMD K6 2 300 MHz. Hopefully we're prepared now for the slashdot-effect. (aj)

Happy new year to you all ! As some of you might noticed, we had a little outage on new year's eve. We had to reboot the server remote, but because of a bootable CD in the CD-ROM drive the system didn't came up again. Well, shit happens :-) (aj)

Good news from the Archeoscope ! We have an email from the Archeoscope - read yourself what Mr. de Wit wrote us:
Merci de votre e-mail. Je me permets de vous réondre en françis, j'espèe que vous pourrez comprendre ce message. Voici la proposition que nous pouvons faire pour la location de notre salle "les Séulcrines": prix de la location pour 10 jours:2500 euros (soit +/- 16,5 euros par personne pour 150 personnes). L'électricité et les lignes téléphoniques sont en plus. Le nettoyage est compris. Nous demandons le versement de la totalité avant la manifestation, plus le dépôt d'une caution pour les dégâts éventuels. J'espère que cette proposition intéressera votre communauté.
